I am also a user of Mod Organizer 2. The latest versions never did work for me (the portable ones). But I am currently content with what I have. Nexus Mod Manager complains about.net framework even when I reinstalled it too many times to count. MO2 allows me to switch to different characters with different saves and different mod lists quickly (a minutemen character for example, wouldn't need the mods for an institute faction.) No need bogging a save down with unnecessary mods (unsuited for the character or play style.).
