For Honor Who To Fight For
The Faction War is one of For Honor's biggest community features, a cross-platform struggle that lets you fight for the glory of one of the game's three factions: Knights, Samurai, or Vikings. All of your multiplayer exploits push your chosen faction closer to victory – and that means more spoils of war for the victors.
- Feb 4, 2019 - Despite its depth, For Honor's learning curve is actually not that steep. Because of the game's unique mix of fighting game mechanics.
- If a lord couldn't count on absolute loyalty from his vassals, the entire system would have collapsed. This sense of loyalty and honor was often carried to extremes by the Japanese, who would fight to the death in a hopeless battle to protect their master's castle, or commit suicide if they felt they had disgraced their lord.

Fl studio pack torrent. Ubisoft Subreddits. Greetings Wolves,Welcome to the 'Honor Variant' unofficial game mode.I thought I'd put together a list of rules to follow if you're attempting to fight with honor instead of just for it.

I'm sure this list will start off incomplete, as I'm hoping you all will help me fill in or remove things as the community sees fit.EDIT: just so no one is confused,This whole system is really only based on if everyone types into chat 'you guys want honor?' 'Let's do 1v1s?' This honor system should not, in no way shape or form, be the default.this is a fun list of unofficial rules to play the game a certain way. Never should you whine that there's 'No Honor' when people want to play the game the way it was designed.

But if ALL players agree on fighting 'with honor' heres list of rules to follow so everyone is on the same page.Rule 1: Every fight must be a 1v1 only. Pretty straightforward, this is usually what everyone thinks of in regards to fighting with honor.Rule 2: No back stabs or sucker punches, this includes during executions. I've gone back and forth on this but I've been convinced that if you managed to succeed at killing your opponent with a heavy, you should be allowed your extra health.Rule 3: No running. When you fight with honor, you stand your ground until you can't stand any more. This also includes running from the match! No matter how mad you are, a warrior with honor does not rage quit or disconnect from a battle.
(This does not forbid repositioning a short distance to a safer area free of ledges, spikes etc.).Rule 4: No Feats. If your opponents are letting you 1v1 your way out of a 4v1 situation, respect them by not throwing a volley of arrows into the audience.Rule 5: No Revenge. This is STRICTLY for Duel mode.
Any other mode, if you have fought multiple opponents, revenge is kosher.Rule 6: No Toxicity. Everyone loves a little good natured trash talk, but an honorable warrior treats his opponents with respect, even if they are noobs who need to git gud.Rule 7: If you die, you die with honor.
ABSOLUTELY NO BITCHING TO THE PERSON THAT KILLED YOU. Regardless of honor, this is just a lifestyle you should adopt.Rule 8: If you break any of these rules, all honor disagreements become null and void. Prepare for the wrath of their team.Rule 9: If even one player does not agree to an honorable fight, all expectations of honor should go out the window.I left off ledge throwing because I honestly think positioning should be a big part of the game, but if the community feels like ledge throwing is dishonorable, then I will add it.Feedback and suggestions are welcome and appreciated, and as always, deus vult.Edit: added rule 8Edit 2: added a new rule to the rule 7 slot, pushing back rules 8 and 9edit 3: revoking the feats/revenge rule. The community has convinced me otherwiseEdit 4: Changed rule 2. Execution canceling is ok with the communityEdit 5: addendum to revenge rule and returning the no execution cancel ruleEdit 6: updated rule 3 to include running from a match, i.e. Rage quittingEdit 7: added 'Welcome to the 'Honor Variant' Unofficial game mode to the top to hopefully quell some rage and make clear what this post is really about. I ran about 15 1v1 duels against the same guy last night.
He was a good bit more experienced and thus better than me, I got him a few times but he won the majority of the matches. I kept going back because I feel like that's he best way to get better.Anywho, I loved this guy. No matter who killed who, after every round we both said Good Fight! If I pulled a nice move he would say Wow! It was some of the classiest 1v1 multiplayer I've ever experienced in any setting. And I think I came out of it a little bit better at the game than when we started.Hats off to that fella. I love it when I get matched with classy people. Thanks to all you good sports out there.
Sometimes it feels like we are the minority, but I like to think there are more of us respectful, humble players than whiny scrubs who trash talk when they lose. The great part about people is that most of us are like that.
Its very easy to get angry at a voiceless person. Once you strike up a friendly conversation you realize you're angry about something that happened in the game and not the other person.as often as not, someone who talks shit just melts when you're nice in return. If you're lucky, someone who's beating you badly will offer to explain your mistakes.
Now, instead of getting angrier with every loss, you're improving.its easy to let yourself get mad but its awesome to overcome that. Be the first person to throw the compliment.

This is more of a PSA.After trying to fight 'With Honor' for many many hours in For Honor, I can confidently say that you should absolutely not do it.It is great to hold yourself to a higher standard, and lie to yourself that you have the moral high ground, but honestly, in the end, you are just a loser.I have avoided ledge tosses, ganking, spike throws, and fire pushes, even when they were super available and would have given me the win. However, every time I showed an unwillingness to capitalize on 'cheap tactics', my weakness was exploited and I would lose because they would do to me what I wouldn't do to them. Let's be honest too, pretending to be a noble warrior and fighting with honor is truly a weakness.
Your enemies will not show you honor if it's the difference between winning or losing. My advice, and the reason for this post, is that you should not show them any honor. Fight to win.In a fight you have to take every advantage you can, because you opponent certainly will. Honor, Pride, and Sportmanship don't win wars or fights. Survival does.Or, ya know, fight how you want, I'm just trying to help you win. That is all.
