It spawns in the same exact locations, it does walk around a bit though so it might be hiding around a corner or something. You detect it with Nuhoc Stealth detection mastery.Until you have that mastery you are unable to hit it. Once it takes damage, an event will start and it will have a boss event icon on the minimap. If you do not continue to damage it, the notification that it will run away will appear. Before you hit it however, it's a neutral yellow-named mob that just runs around and there is no indicator.
