Apparently, the game won't normally run with a modified coalesced.ini, so I looked at the wiki, which referred me to, which should supposedly allow me to edit the config and still play. However, this mod also includes various cheats which I do not want.Alternatively, the wiki links to, which tells me to use a hex editor to edit file offset 0xE21734 of MassEffect2.exe, which does not exist.
I have also looked at all ME2 Coalesced-related links in, however they are all on the BioWare social site which no longer exists. I also tried, and, all of which did not work. Please help!EDIT: OK I managed to get it to work with, I just had to save the file in Notepad (as in actually click 'save') before running the fixer.
In my defense, whenever I opened Coalesced again the changes were still there, I just had to click save for them to take effect.
Save ConstantlyMake frequent saves and separate files for these saves throughout the game.
